Stewardship: Growing a Church Family
Giving and volunteering your time, talents and treasures will help GOMSOC build a complete church and community for the 21st century.

We invite everyone to be part of our greater family, where we can pray together, love one another, grow our families together, watch out for each other, break bread together, laugh together, share together and be strong together all while building a church together.

Pledges for 2011
Stewardship, 2011. Stewardship cards were mailed to church members a few weeks ago. Thank you to those who have already returned them. If you did not receive a letter, Stewardship cards are available in the Narthex or from a Parish Council member. Please take a moment to complete yours and return it to the church. “Stewardship is caring for the needs of others. Stewardship is offering one’s self to God as He offered Himself to us. Stewardship is what a person does after saying ‘I believe…’ as proof of that belief.” (Williams and McKibben in Oriented Leadership)

How do I get involved?
Being a newer church, there are many opportunities for you to support our mission and join our family. Prayer is something we all can do. A contribution of your time and talent is also welcomed and encouraged. Whether you wish to work with children or the elderly, take on a leadership role in the mission, worship as an acolyte, reader, usher, sing in the choir, assist at fellowship hour or even help maintain the facilities, there is something for everyone to get involved. You might even think of something that we’re not doing today, and start a new program. Lastly, your financial support is welcomed. Your contribution, large or small, keeps the mission going by supporting our ministries and covers 100% percent of our facility expenses and priest. Whether you give weekly, monthly, yearly, anonymously and/or contribute in the basket on Sundays, your voluntary support of our mission family will allow us to continue to grow until one day we achieve parish status.

To give to the Greek Orthodox Mission of South Orange County, complete a Donation and Commitment Card and mail it to us at 27129 Calle Arroyo, #1803, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92693.
